Free HIV/AIDS Seminar to be Held

A free and open to the public seminar on HIV/AIDS
has been scheduled for this month at West
Virginia
Northern
Community College’s
Wheeling
campus.
To be conducted by Northern Professor Thomas
Danford, the seminar will be held from noon-1:30 p.m.
Friday, March 26, in room 121 of the
Education Center, 10 17th St., downtown Wheeling.
Danford said he will provide up to date information on HIV/AIDS, on
prevention strategies and situations concerning the disease from a global,
national and local perspective.
Danford is a professor of biology and division chair for
Science, Math and Technology at the college. He has been an active member of
the AIDS Task Force of the
Upper Ohio Valley
