
Health
sciences students in the Medical Assisting, Respiratory Care and Surgical
Technology programs purchased numerous toys for the annual toy drive.
The
partnership was a natural as Charles Postle, junior vice commandant of the
Jones Wolin O’Brien Detachment 771,
“Students in
our program are required to complete a minimum of eight hours of community
service per semester, and the Marine Corps toy drive was selected as the
students’ service project for the current semester,” Ingram said.
The toys
will be picked up and distributed to the lucky children by the local Marines
detachment.
