Northern's Continuing Education Program helps individuals upgrade
their job skills, enhance their professional development and
explore their personal interests, plus the program assists
employers in improving the quality of the workforce. A variety of
classes, workshops and seminars are designed to help individuals
stay current in their field or acquire certification or
credentialing for career advancement or to meet licensing
requirements. We customize courses and programs for employers to
meet the needs of their specific workplace.
Our flexible scheduling provides quality, cost-effective
training that is convenient for students. Both credit and
non-credit courses are available through continuing education and
the College also awards CEU's. Generally, continuing education
credits may not be used as college credits applicable to a degree
program.
The Continuing Education Program strives to meet the
community's needs for life-long learning. We encourage you to
contact us if you need training or instruction in areas not
included in our publications. Continuing Education courses are
offered throughout the year and are included in the College's
"Career Connections" publication and in special
brochures and flyers.
