Electronic and Print Resources

Each of the three campuses of West Virginia Northern Community College has a separate Library/Learning Resource Center with a unified collection of more than 27,000 book volumes, 120 periodical subscriptions and 1200 audio-visual pieces. Special collections include career information, study skills materials, and A-V material. In addition, the library has several electronic databases, many of which include full-text articles. The library's online catalog provides easy access to the College's book and audio-visual collections. Users also have access to other West Virginia college library online catalogs as well as to the world wide web.

The library staff has the expertise to locate information resources not only within the library but also across the country and throughout the world through Interlibrary Loan and the Internet. By utilizing the Internet, users have access to libraries, organizations, businesses, government agencies and many types of information.
