Course Description:

This course is an introduction to computer concepts and terminology, computer arithmetic operations and data storage, input/output devices, and communications. Also included is an overview of various programming languages and some hands-on experiences with operating systems, word processing, spreadsheets, and database inquiry software. Career opportunities and job positions relative to the computer profession are explored.
