Fall Job Fair Set at WVNCC

A Fall Job Fair will be held from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Oct. 18 in the B&O Building auditorium at the Wheeling campus of West Virginia Northern Community College.

Julie Horton, counselor/career services at Northern, said the fair is designed to connect employers with candidates seeking seasonal, full- or part-time work and internship opportunities.

Horton said the free event is open to the public as well as graduating students from WVNCC, current students and alumni. The counselor advises job seekers to dress professionally and have plenty of resumes available to distribute to the participating employers.

Employers pre-registered to attend the event are Adecco, AT&T, Bureau of Vocational Rehabilitation, Chartwells at Bethany College, Extras Support Staffing, Family Behavioral Resources, Hi-Power Media Solutions, Integrative Staffing Group LLC, Labor Ready, Northern Panhandle Head Start, Inc., Northwood Health Systems, Oglebay Resort & Conference Center, Right at Home, State of West Virginia/Employment Service, TeleTech Services Corp., Western & Southern Financial Group, Wheeling Island Hotel-Casino-Racetrack, Williams Lea and Youth Services System, Inc.
