My WVNCC Student Portal
The My WVNCC Student Portal was created and is supported by the Institutional Research Department. Below you will find some FAQs and Documentation to assist you in using your MyWVNCC account.
Click on the forgot password link located to the right of the Log On button.
YES...just click on the forgot password link and follow the instructions. You will be asked to answer your security questions you set up when you set up your portal account. Once you answer these, your password will be reset to your N number.
If you are having issues remembering your security questions please go to your local service center and they will submit a ticket to our department. We will reset your password to your N number and reset your security questions. You will have to choose a new password and security questions upon your next log-in.
If you have your ticket submitted between the hours of 8 and 5 M-F your request should be taken care of within the half-hour. If it is after 5 or on a weekend, there can be a 24 hour turn around. We are currently working on additional methods to assist you with these issues.
Yes. Once logged into your portal, simply click on Settings (Located Under your Name in the upper right hand corner)...Update Security Questions. This will allow you to update your security questions on your own.
In order for the single sign on to work for N.O.W. it requires you to allow pop-ups. If you would like to allow pop-ups on your personal computer, instructions are available by clicking here.

WVNCC currently uses Microsoft as their student and adjunct email system. Microsoft has recently updated their security requirements and a number of other features. This update caused our single sign-on feature to no longer work. This has also made it impossible for us to reset passwords to your student N#. This is something we cannot control and we are currently working on a better solution.
Because of the multiple processes and items attached to your student email address once it is set up originally, we are unable to change this.
We do not set up or support personal electronics. Microsoft provides instructions for this process. Once logged into your email click on Options...See All Options...Phone or click here to access instructions from Microsoft that will assist you in setting up your phone.
