Student Activities offers a variety of events and other areas of interest for students to either attend or get involved in. Some of these activities are the Student Government Association (SGA), Campus Activities Board (CAB), recreational and intramural sports, the Community Outreach Opportunity Program (COOP), as well as student clubs and organizations.
What do I need to do to get involved?
Student Activities offers many ways for students to be involved, even if it is just for an hour.
You may choose to:
• Attend an event
• Run for a student government office
• Give back to the community by participating in COOP
• Join the Campus Activities Board (CAB)
• Write articles for the student newspaper
• Participate in club, recreational or intramural sports
Just a few things we do!
We kick off each semester with a series of welcome events on each campus.
Each year student activities offers a variety of family programming opportunities ranging from Children's parties to Movie Nights.
The traditional Chicken Fest is a celebration that is held on each campus during the month of September honoring our mascot – the Thundering Chicken! This event features many fun “Chicken-Themed” Activities!
Our Educational Programming features presentations for Women's History, Black History, and other awareness programs and/or topics.
