Career-Transfer Fair Set at WVNCC

“Explore Your Potential: 2015 Career & Transfer Fair” will be held from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Wednesday, April 22, at West Virginia Northern Community College on the downtown Wheeling campus.
 
The event, free and open to the public, will be conducted in the B&O Building auditorium, 1704 Market St., (enter through the main front doors) and is intended to connect spring graduates with area employers and to provide information to students who want to transfer to a four-year institution to continue their education.
 
To date, more than 20 participants have registered to attend to provide information and interaction with students.
 
Employers include Cabela’s, Inc., Council of Three Rivers American Indian Center, Inc., Country Meadows, Fox Run Center, Mountaineer Gas Co., Oglebay Resort and Conference Center, TROY Group, Inc., Walmart Stores, Wheeling Hospital, Williams Lea and WorkForce Wheeling Employment Office.
 
Attending institutions include West Liberty University, Bethany College, West Virginia University Extended Learning, Wheeling Jesuit University, Ohio University Eastern,  WVU Institute of Technology, Washington & Jefferson, West Virginia Wesleyan College, Chamberlain College of Nursing, West Virginia State University and Ohio Valley University.
 
It is recommended that those seeking employment dress professionally and bring plenty of resume copies. Transfer students are encouraged to bring unofficial copies of their transcripts.
