WVNCC receives marketing award from the National Council for Marketing & Public Relations
Posted 04/07/20The National Council for Marketing & Public Relations (NCMPR) awarded West Virginia Northern Community College (WVNCC) a prestigious marketing award. WVNCC Marketing Team won a Bronze Paragon for its app, WVNCC GO.
NCMPR is a professional organization exclusively for marketing & public relations professionals at community colleges. This year’s Paragon Awards yielded 1,963 entries in 53 categories from 261 community colleges across the U.S. It is the only national competition of its kind that honors excellence among marketing & PR professionals at two-year colleges. WVNCC was the only community college in the state of West Virginia to receive a Paragon this year.
“We were humbled to receive this honor,” commented WVNCC Marketing & Public Relations Director, David Barnhardt. “The app is a testament to our steadfast commitment of communicating and staying connected to our students. I am proud of our team’s effort in making this happen and am happy for them to see their hard work rewarded.”
The app was designed by TSG, located in Triadelphia, in partnership with WVNCC’s Marketing Department and was made possible through the WVNCC Foundation. WVNCC GO focuses on events and news at WVNCC. It also allows users to connect quickly with college faculty and staff and easily provides locations for its New Martinsville and Weirton Campuses as well as all five buildings located on the Wheeling Campus.
