Attendance                                                                                               
  • Faculty are required to record student attendance at the beginning of each semester. Attendance is required for every course, including distance education and accelerated (intersession) courses.

Administrative Withdrawals

  • The administrative withdrawal of a student from a course may be implemented by the instructor when, in the opinion of the instructor, a student fails to attend class regularly and/or fails to complete educational assignments.

  • Northern Navigator provides advisors and studentswith an easy to understand, clearly defined pathway toward degree completion.

Permit/Override Instructions for Registration

  • The permit/override function provides faculty with the ability to grant a student permission to register for a class even if they have received a registration error. Overrides can only be issued by the faculty member teaching the course.
