Online Bookstore FAQ’s

How it works:
When you log in to the bookstore you will see a personalized page of the courses you registered for, plus the course materials that your faculty have assigned to them. This will include additional items like uniforms, etc., if they are required for your program. You can then select from among the new, used, rental, and eBook options available. You can also select from Marketplace options, which are sold by students around the country and other third-party sellers at heavily discounted prices.

What's different?
You should order your books in advance of the first day of classes, both to ensure you have your books in time, and to take advantage of the lowest prices available from the Online Bookstore's inventory.

How do I pay for my books?
There will be little change to our payment options. Akademos will accept Financial Aid Vouchers, Third-Party Vouchers (i.e. – WIOA/TAA), credit cards, debit cards, pre-paid cards, gift cards, PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay.

Can I still get WVNCC apparel to show off my school pride?
Yes! Akademos and their partner, American Business Solutions, will provide WVNCC branded apparel that can be purchased online and shipped directly to your home. They will offer a larger selection than we offered in the past. We are even looking at offering a line of WVNCC Alumni apparel. We are very excited about the vast array of items Akademos offers our students, employees and community.
