Career Fair To Be Held at WVNCC

“Explore Your Potential: 2016 Career & Transfer Fair” will be held from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Wednesday, April 6, at West Virginia Northern Community College on the downtown Wheeling campus.

The event, free and open to the public, will be conducted in the B&O Building auditorium, 1704 Market St., and is intended to connect spring graduates with area employers and to provide information to students who want to transfer to a four-year institution to continue their education.

Some 20 participants have registered to attend to provide information and interaction with students.

Employers include WVU Hospitals, Cardinal Health, Crittenton Services, Primerica and Council of Three Rivers American Indian Center, Inc.

Attending institutions include West Liberty University, Bethany College, Wheeling Jesuit University, Ohio University Eastern, WVU Institute of Technology, Chamberlain College of Nursing, West Virginia State University, Salem University and Geneva College.

It is recommended that those seeking employment dress professionally and bring plenty of resume copies. Transfer students are encouraged to bring unofficial copies of their transcripts.
