Weirton Campus Slates Job Fair

A Job Fair will be conducted at the Weirton campus of West Virginia Northern Community College featuring more than 25 employers looking for personnel.

Free and open to the public, the Job Fair will be held from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. on Thursday, April 17, in the first and second floor hallways at the Weirton campus building, 150 Park Ave. Helping coordinate the event is Workforce WV.

According to Christy Yeager, one stop operator at Workforce WV, and Mary Lu Adams, Northern’s career services counselor, the list of employers participating in the Job Fair includes Workforce WV Career Centers, West Virginia Job Service, Schneider National Trucking, Mountaineer Casino, West Virginia Division of Personnel, United Bank, IC Staffing, National Council on Aging, Council of Three Rivers Indian American Center, IC Care, The Vet Center, Lauttamus Communications, Wheeling Island Casino, Weirton Medical Center, Addeco, Primerica Trucking, Cabela's, Apollo Pro Cleaning, Labor Ready, Right At Home, Hancock County Senior Services, West Virginia Business College, Comfort Keepers, Office Max, Williams Lea, West Virginia Division of Rehabilitation Services and Weirton Geriatrics.
