Presidential Search & Transition

This page provides information about the leadership transition at West Virginia Northern Community College following the announcement of Dr. Daniel P. Mosser’s retirement, effective June 30, 2026. After 41 years in education and seven years as WVNCC’s president, Dr. Mosser is concluding a distinguished career marked by growth in programs, student enrollment, grants, and community impact. 

As part of the transition, we are sharing key communications from the College, including a letter from Dr. Mosser announcing his retirement and the Board of Governors’ retirement acknowledgment.
