How do I know if I’m registered?
You’ll receive a confirmation email from earlyaccess@wvncc.edu once your registration is processed. You can also check your class schedule in your student portal by clicking on N.O.W. in the Tools menu.
Am I considered a WVNCC student?
Yes! You’re officially a WVNCC student with access to all the resources like tutoring, advising, events, and more. Welcome to our Northern family - we're glad to have you as a new Thundering Chicken!
How do I drop or add a class?
Complete the Add/Drop Form and email it to earlyaccess@wvncc.edu before the deadline. Dates are available on the Academic Calendar. You will only be considered withdrawal or dropped from the class once your form has been submitted and processed.

Do I need to use my WVNCC student email?
Yes. All official communication will be sent to your WVNCC email, so be sure to check it regularly.
How do I pay my bill?
You’ll receive payment details after registration is processed. Payment plans may be available - contact your Campus Service Center for help. Payments can be made online through your student portal by clicking on N.O.W. in the Tools menu.
Can WVNCC share my information with my parents?
Not automatically. Students must complete a FERPA form to allow WVNCC to share information with parents or guardians.
Can I register myself for classes?
No. The Early Access team registers students to ensure everything is set up correctly.
What if I earn a “D” in a course?
Some colleges require a “C” or better for transfer. You may need to retake the course depending on your goals. Speak with you Early Access or Pathway Advisor to find out any steps you need to take.
How do I send my transcript to another college?
Request your official transcript through the WVNCC website when you're ready to transfer credits.

I have an IEP or 504 Plan - what should I do?
Contact WVNCC’s Academic Resource Center to request accommodations. These are not automatically transferred from your high school.
What does it mean if I’m waitlisted?
It means the class is full. If a seat opens, you’ll be notified and can choose to enroll.
What is a 1098-T form?
It’s a tax document some students receive if tuition is paid by a third party (like Level Up).
