Join us for a presentation, titled “6 Things Every White Person Should Know,” by Ron Scott, Cultural Diversity and Community Outreach Coordinator at the YWCA! This is a presentation meant to facilitate thought and discussion among any demographic that is considered a majority, or member of the status quo, when dealing with members of the minority.

Goals of the presentation:

  • To identify racial biases & prejudices
  • To understand how racial biases can be counterproductive
  • To understand that any demographic can be lead to prejudice, bias, and misconceptions
