A makerspace is a collaborative workspace for making, learning, and exploring creative ideas! Makers can gather to work on projects while sharing ideas, equipment, and knowledge.
Northern's Makerspace is located in the Library of the Academic Resource Center and open to students, faculty and staff (by appointment) and has a variety of maker equipment including 3D printers/laser engraver/milling machines, soldering iron, laptops for code-writing, stationary & handheld scanners and even sewing machines!
