WVNCC Career and Transfer Fair

West Virginia Northern Community College (WVNCC) will host a Career and Transfer Fair on their Wheeling Campus on Tuesday, April 18, 2023,from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. The event is free and open to the public who are seeking employment. It will also provide information to WVNCC students who want to transfer to a four-year institution.

Over 35 companies and higher education institutions will be on-hand for people seeking employment opportunities, or current WVNCC students looking to continue their education. Potential candidates should dress professionally and have plenty of resumes available to distribute to the participating employers. Employers attending include WV Division of Rehabilitation Services, American Job Center, Sevita/REM of WV, Youth Services System, Northwood Health System, ManPower, Consol Energy, LauttamusCommunication & Security, National Council on Aging, Augusta Levy Leaning Center, WVU Medicine, Northern Panhandle Head Start, Ruiz Insurance/Erie Insurance, MiraclesBlossom, Not Forgotten Home & Community Services, and more.

In addition to employers, local colleges and universities will be present for those who want to continue their education. Higher Education institutions that are currently signed up to attend include West liberty University, West Virginia University, Marshall University, Fairmont State University, Wheeling University, Bethany College, WVU Medicine, WVU School of Pharmacy, Salem University, Waynesburg University and more.
