West Virginia Northern Community College’s (WVNCC) Department of Student Activities will host a virtual cooking class via Zoom with chef Chris Kefauver, on October 1, from 6 – 7:30 p.m. The class will be cooking a full meal of cuisine traditional to West Virginia. WVNCC will provide all the ingredients for students who RSVP before Monday, September 21. Community members are welcome to join the course and will receive the Zoom link and recipe information via email for those that RSVP.
Dishes being cooked include pepperoni rolls, peppers and sauce, stroganoff (venison, beef or cubed beef) and apple crisp. During the class, Kefauver, who is the Program Director for WVNCC’s Culinary Program, will cook alongside participants and offer step-by-step instructions. Anyone interested in taking part in the class must RSVP to Sara Wood by September 21 at firstname.lastname@example.org.
