PROGRAM ADMISSION INFORMATION:
Admission to the Clinical Medical Assisting, AAS program requires (1) completion of a Health Science Application; (2) Overall GPA of 2.25 at the time of admission; (3) successful completion of a background check and drug screening; (4) successful completion of the Administrative Medical Assisting, CAS program.
Students applying for admission to the Clinical Medical Assisting, AAS program will be required to complete the following:
1. A background check and drug screening. The $200 deposit each student submits to confirm his or her spot in the program pays for the background check and drug screening.
2. A physical examination as per the Health Science Department Health Record. (Students schedule with their own physicians)
3. Uniforms, sphygmomanometer, and stethoscope are required and can be purchased through the College bookstore using financial aid funds. Students will also be required to purchase shoes and a watch as described in program orientation.

A minimum grade of a "C' is required in all courses to remain in the program and graduate.
