Personal Interest Students

Students looking to take an individual course or courses without selecting a major may select the Personal Interest (non-degree) option on their admissions application instead.

Personal Interest students are not eligible to use Financial Aid, but may set up a payment plan if they wish through the Student Accounts Office after registering.

Personal Interest students must meet the pre- and co-requisites of any courses they wish to take by submitting placement test scores and/or official transcripts. For important information on the student portal, registration, payment, and more, go to the Let’s Get Started Guide.
