REVIEW OF CHARGES / TUITION REDUCTION REQUEST PROCESS
Your Part
To request a tuition reduction, please:
- Submit your request in detail. Clearly explain the circumstances surrounding your withdrawal. If your reason is medical or related to a personal tragedy, include supporting documentation (e.g., hospital bill, doctor’s note, obituary).
- State your student status. Indicate whether you are:
- Planning to return
- Not planning to return
- Undecided
- Explain how you will pay if returning.
- Third Party Payment: Attach documentation showing approval.
- Financial Aid: Provide proof of FAFSA submission for the aid year you are applying (such as the confirmation email from FAFSA).
- Out of Pocket: Explain how you will cover tuition (e.g., pay in full, 4-installment plan).
- If undecided about returning, explain why you are unsure.
- Include your current mailing address and phone number. This is how we will notify you of our decision.
Our Part
- Requests are reviewed by the committee, and decisions are typically made within 7–10 business days.
- Around holidays, processing may take up to 2.5 weeks.
- You will be notified within 2 business days of a decision being made.
