REVIEW OF CHARGES / TUITION REDUCTION REQUEST PROCESS

Your Part

To request a tuition reduction, please:

1. Submit your request in detail. Clearly explain the circumstances surrounding your withdrawal. If your reason is medical or related to a personal tragedy, include supporting documentation (e.g., hospital bill, doctor’s note, obituary).
2. State your student status. Indicate whether you are:
   • Planning to return
   • Not planning to return
   • Undecided
3. Explain how you will pay if returning.
   • Third Party Payment: Attach documentation showing approval.
   • Financial Aid: Provide proof of FAFSA submission for the aid year you are applying (such as the confirmation email from FAFSA).
   • Out of Pocket: Explain how you will cover tuition (e.g., pay in full, 4-installment plan).
4. If undecided about returning, explain why you are unsure.
5. Include your current mailing address and phone number. This is how we will notify you of our decision.

Our Part

• Requests are reviewed by the committee, and decisions are typically made within 7–10 business days.
• Around holidays, processing may take up to 2.5 weeks.
• You will be notified within 2 business days of a decision being made.
