Community Education offers courses and seminars for personal enrichment, cultural interests and educational pursuits through community education programming. Community education offerings are arranged on each campus to meet local needs.
Continuing Education helps individuals upgrade their job skills, enhance their professional development and explore their personal interests, plus the program works with employers to train and up-skill their workforce.

Online Education Classes for Credit
Both credit and non-credit courses are also available online.
Higher Education Adult Part-Time Student (HEAPS) Grant Program - A need-based grant for students enrolled on a part-time basis (3 - 11 credit hours). Eligible applicants must have lived in WV continuously for a minimum of 12 months immediately preceding the semester applying for HEAPS. Awards are on a 1st-come-1st-serve basis since funds are limited per institution. The annual WV HEAPS Application can be found on our Financial Aid Forms page.
