Dual Credit
Earn high school + college credit at the same time
- Take courses approved by your high school
- Classes held at your high school, online, or at WVNCC
- Available during Fall & Spring semesters
Cost: $65 per credit hour + $25 per semester
Best for students who want to stay on track with high school while getting ahead in college. Check Dual Credit Eligibility - talk to your high school counselor to see which courses count for both high school and college credit.
Level Up Dual Credit Pathways
FREE college credit in select career pathways
- Earn both high school + college credit
- Available in approved career pathways
- Classes held at your high school, online, or at WVNCC
- Available during Fall & Spring semesters
Cost: FREE for qualifying WV students
Great for students interested in careers like business, healthcare, education, criminal justice, and more
General Credit
Take college classes and earn college credit
- Choose from a wide range of WVNCC courses
- Classes held online or on campus
- Available during Fall, Spring & Summer semesters
- Must meet course placement & prerequisites
Cost: $65 per credit hour + $25 per semester
Best for students who want flexibility or are exploring college options
