Graduation is an important step in moving your career forward and the Career Services Office at West Virginia Northern Community College is committed to providing excellent career development services that will assist you in finding employment after graduation. The Career Services Office has several services available to WVNCC students/alumni:

College Central

College Central is WVNCC's career management system for students and alumni. This account is free. To register: Go to: www.collegecentral.com/wvncc
Select Student if still a current student or Alumni if after graduation.
Current students must use their student ID number to create an access ID.

Once you have created an account you have access to search job postings, create and manage resumes/references, and download free career podcasts and videos. Career Services also posts information regarding upcoming events such as job fairs and workshops. In order to receive job referrals from the Career Services Office, you must register on College Central.

Resume Critiques & Mock Interviews

Students/alumni can schedule individual appointments in the Career Services Office for resume critiques and sessions on interviewing. To schedule an appointment, please contact Laura Kastenbauer at lkastenbauer@wvncc.edu.
