FAFSA Help

The 2024–25 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) form is available periodically as part of the soft launch. During the soft launch, the FAFSA form will be available for short periods of time while we monitor site performance and form functionality. We will initiate pauses for site maintenance and to make technical updates as needed to provide you with a better experience.

You can complete the form to apply for financial aid to help pay for attendance at college between July 1, 2024, and June 30, 2025. You will have plenty of time to complete the FAFSA form. If you do submit your form during the soft launch, your information will be saved, and you won’t need to resubmit your form or any related information. If your form is unavailable when you or your family members try to access it, please try again later.

Yes! WVNCC has a comprehensive scholarship application for different student types.

Will the Financial Aid Office be available to assist me with the FAFSA?

Yes! The Financial Aid Office will have time slots available during the day and select evenings. Please check below for event dates.

I want to do my WVNCC paperwork, but don’t see them on the website.

Paperwork for upcoming terms will be posted soon. Summer forms will be available March 15 and 2024-2025 is to be determined.

I am starting in the Spring of 2024 what FAFSA do I do?

For a student starting in January 2024, you will do the 2023-2024 FAFSA.

I am starting in the summer of 2024, what FAFSA do I need to complete?

The FAFSA for 2024 Summer is the 2023-2024.
