The Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) degree provides students who have completed an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree program with an opportunity to continue their education to the baccalaureate level, acquiring additional skills and furthering their professional advancement. With this degree, students can then enter the professional world of criminal justice or continue their education at the graduate level in law, business administration, criminal justice, counseling or social work.

An Applied Science degree focuses on a Criminal Justice-intensive curriculum. The emphasis is on Criminal Justice courses, with limited requirements in liberal arts, science and math courses.

The Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) degree provides students who have completed an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree program with an opportunity to continue their education to the baccalaureate level, acquiring additional skills and furthering their professional advancement.

This state-wide degree program requires 39 credit hours of upper division course work, of which 27 credit hours must be completed in the Criminal Justice area of emphasis.
